In 2008-2009, SGC Will Work on Increasing Alumnae
Communications, Involvement and Networking!
With help from a group of passionate and re-engaged alumnae, the SGC Board is working hard in 2008-2009 to formulate a strategy to reengage alumnae and their families and make them feel more connected to the Choir.
We also have wonderful current alumnae involvement in the choir organization:
Tess Orozco ‘00 Conducts the two youngest SGC choirs and runs our Music Theory program
Sarra Sharif ‘04, volunteered at camp and is now working as a TA in Prime Voci and Cantamus, and teaching our Monday/Wednesday Sight Singing class
Veronica Davila ‘05, Cara Lanctot ‘95 and Bonnie McKee ‘02 also have volunteered in the last few years at summer camp
Camille Unich Dierksheide ‘90 is the Alumnae Chair of our 2008 Annual Fund, and is working very closely with the SGC Board to develop a strong alumnae outreach strategy.
Jen Nehr ‘91 is joining us in January as faculty to teach our preschool music class - "Musical Me" for 4-5 year old girls and boys.
In the next year, we hope to:
Increase connections and communications
Increase opportunities for SGC involvement
Grow a platform for networking and publicity of alumnae activities/events
