PLACEMENT AUDITIONS for ALL CHOIR LEVELS

Placement auditions are by appointment and held regularly in September, January, and June

We are currently taking applications for Fall Plaement Auditions.
Placement Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 19^th and Saturday September 8^th

To schedule a placement audition:
First - print out and complete the following application form:

CHOIR OVERVIEW, HIGHLIGHTS, and FORM (PDF)

Second – mail application with a $25 deposit.
Upon receipt you will be called to schedule the audition and to confirm the location.

If accepted into the choir the deposit will be credited towards your first month’s tuition.

The Seattle Girls' Choir, led by Jacob Winkler, is a national leader in choral and music training. There are six levels of instruction from beginning prep choir (ages 6-7) to advanced choirs (up to 18 or 19 yrs.). Instruction includes music theory, sight singing, ear training, vocal training, and performance skills.

REHEARSALS  

We operate a full six-level program at our Choir Center in the
North Capitol Hill neighborhood near Volunteer Park at 1300 East Aloha

"DOLCINE & DOLCINETTES"

Our Junior Preparatory Choir for girls ages 6 - 7
meets on Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:20, and Dolcine continues until 6:00.

"VIVISSIMI"

Our Advanced Preparatory Choir for girls ages 8 & 9
meets on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30

(There is a break for snacks midway through rehearsal, and 6:00 - 6:30 is for music theory class) classes)

"ALLEGRA" 

Girls ages 10 and older sing in Allegra,
meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30

(There is a break for snacks midway through rehearsal, and on Thursday 6:00 - 6:30 is for music theory class)

"CANTAMUS"

Our Intermediate Choir is comprised of mostly middle and high school aged girls.
meets on Mondays and Wednesdays: 

Monday: Choral Rehearsal from 4:30 to 6:15
Dinner Break fromm 6:15 to 6:35
Music Theory instruction from 6:35 to 7:35

Wednesday: Choral Rehearsal from 4:30 to 6:30

"PRIME VOCI"

Our Advanced Choir has a full performance schedule and tours internationally. meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at the same times as Cantamus.
