The Seattle Girls' Choir School was founded in 1982 by Dr. Jerome L. Wright, Artistic Director,
with the idea of creating a "junior conservatory" where talented young women from
throughout Puget Sound Region could gather after school to
develop their music education under the tutelage of world-class
artist-teachers.
